Tell your assistant. Check it off later.
Tryck has a connector that lets an AI assistant read and change your tasks. You talk to the assistant the way you already do. What needs doing ends up in Tryck, and you tick it off in your own time, without scrolling back through a chat.
How it is used
- After a meeting or a long chat, say "put the follow-ups in Tryck". Each becomes a task with a date, a list and notes.
- Ask "what is due this week?" and get your real list, not a guess.
- Give a chore, a bill or an errand to someone in your home, if you ask for that. Only then.
- Log time, tick off a chore or add something to the pantry in plain words, if those add-ons are on.
The point: the chat is where you think. Tryck is where the work is kept. You never have to find the task in a transcript.
Works with
Tryck is a standard remote connector (MCP, with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE). We have connected it to Claude and ChatGPT (developer mode). Other assistants that support remote connectors with OAuth should work too, but we have not tested them all, so we do not promise that. Command-line tools that sign in through a local browser, such as Claude Code, also work.
Set it up
- In your assistant's settings, add a custom connector (in ChatGPT it is under Plugins, with developer mode on).
- Use the address
https://tryck.app/mcpand choose OAuth. - Sign in with your Tryck password. The page that follows lists exactly what that assistant will be able to do, including each add-on you have turned on. Allow or deny.
- Start a chat, turn Tryck on for it, and ask.
What stays yours
- You decide per assistant. Disconnecting it in the assistant's settings stops it.
- The household ledger is read-only for the assistant unless you allow writing in Tryck's settings.
- Text that other people in the home write is shown to you as content. Tools are told never to treat it as instructions.
- Tryck is in early access and not open for sign-up yet. There is no iPhone app.
