Reading these pages collects nothing about you: no cookies, no analytics, no ads, no tracking pixels. The one thing we keep is your email address, and only if you join the waitlist. Last updated 16 Oct 2026.

Who runs this

The public pages on tryck.app are run by Otto in Malmö (ottr), who decides what is done with the information below. Contact: hello@ottr.studio.

The waitlist

Tryck is not open for sign-up yet. If you want to hear when it is, you can leave your email address on the home page or on the households page.

What we keep
Your email address (in lower case), the optional line about what you would use Tryck for if you wrote one, the date and time, which page you used, the version of the consent wording you ticked, and a random code that lets you be removed with one click.
What we do not keep
Your IP address, your device or browser details, or anything from cookies (there are none). To stop bots we count sign-ups per connection for one hour using a scrambled form of the IP address that cannot be turned back into it. It is deleted within the hour.
Why, and on what basis
To send you one email when Tryck opens for sign-up, and nothing else: no newsletter, no sharing, no selling. The basis is your consent (GDPR article 6.1.a), which is the checkbox you tick yourself.
How long
Until we have sent the launch email, and at the latest 12 months after you signed up. Then it is erased.
Who can see it
Otto only. The list is stored in a database at Cloudflare, who run the servers for us (Cloudflare Inc., USA, which is an approved recipient under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). No other service receives it, and the pages load no scripts, fonts or images from anyone else.
No confirmation email
We do not send a "please confirm" email, because we cannot send email from the site yet. That means someone could type your address by mistake. If that happened, remove it with the form below, or with the link in the launch email.

Remove my email

It is erased at once. You get the same answer whether it was on the list or not, so this page cannot be used to find out who is on it.

What your browser stores

Two small preferences stay on your own device and are never sent to us: the light or dark theme, and whether you have seen the intro screen. If you switch the price currency on the pricing page, that choice is remembered the same way. Clear your browser's site data to remove them.

What the host sees

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and to block abuse.

If you email us

If you write to hello@ottr.studio, we use your address only to reply and, if you ask, to tell you when Tryck opens for sign-up. We keep it until you ask us to delete it. Tell us at the same address and we will.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it erased, or to take back your consent at any time (taking it back does not change what happened before). You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se).

The app itself

Tryck is in early access and not open for sign-up. A full privacy policy for the app will be published before anyone can create an account.
